“Hitler didn’t kill enough Jews”, yells Irish man at Jewish filmmaker

A world renowned filmmaker who captured a group of men spout hatred toward Jews in a Derry bar has said he has never seen so much anti-semitism as what he did during his entire visit to Northern Ireland.

However, he said at least those in the bar were honest and did not try and hide their hatred.

Theater director, playwright, author and journalist, Tuvia Tenenbom was in Northern Ireland to research on a new book.

In a clip which has gone viral on social media the 62-year-old visits Derry's Bogside area and asks bemused locals why there are so many Palestinian flags flying in the area.

Some drinkers that respond say they "hate Jews" describing Israelis as "child murdering scum" and they were the "scourge of the Earth".

One of the group shouted: "The only thing Hitler did wrong was he didn't kill enough f***ing Jews."

Police have confirmed that they have received a complaint in relation to the video and are investigating.

And its probably hard for you to comprehend or you are just in denial that it isnt the case for everyone and that antizionism vastly comes from people's rejection of Israel's management of the war and that the religion of the population is irrelevant for us.

That’s really sad and unfortunate. People on both sides should be able to have a civil conversation/debate about this issue. There are 2 extremes. The people who are super anti Semitic outright and those on the other end who say critiquing Israel or being anti-Zionist is anti semetism itself. The truth is probably somewhere in between and these accusations don’t help anyone.

The truth is not in between, both of those sides are ****ing crazy.

The truth is the position that no one should hate Jews and that Jews are just as awesome and cool as anyone else and that criticism of Israel is okay s long as it’s not done for anti Semitic reasons.
