NotMyFlop 1,979 Posted April 2, 2019 Share Posted April 2, 2019 I’m stunned no one posted about this. Avengers: Endgame tickets went on sale today and it’s caused a stunning response. Almost immediately, AMC + partners couldn’t keep up with the demand and it began to glitch, crash and cause issues FIVE HOURS AGO. It’s so bad, in fact, AMC seemingly has pulled their services online. I ended up going to a physical location & buying them. It’s insane. They have NO CLUE when it’ll be back up. Other chains have crashed, but have come back. It’s proving again that Marvel + Endgame is the global pop culture phenomenon of our time — even of all time. Will you get tickets? We have an amazing IMAX theater was the biggest for a very long time, people come from all over state for it. Tickets didnt go on sale until after 7am, and I couldn't use my app. I had to buy them from the website, which wouldn't let me log in to get my rewards, and charged me an extra $10 "booking fee," which could have been avoided had the stupid app worked. They have kept it pretty well spread out. Last year there were 3 MCU movies released, this year, there are 3, but it's been this giant story arch that's spread over 20+ films. Also, the gap between the character films are usually 2 years, so it's not really like you're getting the same film every year.
