 Please, by all means, do consider this 'argument' won by you if it means that much. The most baffling thing to me is you having the nerve to call me condescending when the first things you said to me were literally "i know it’s hard for you to fathom this" and "I was under the assumption that a paragraph was not too much for you to read." People are always going to throw shade at pop stars. It's funny and as long as it's not being outright rude, trying to lecture and drag people is just wasted effort. Shows how insecure you are about your fave. 

Both of us are on GGD commenting on things that hardly matter, both of our time can be better spent, so don't act like you're above anything. None of this is serious. Wonder how I'm taking this too seriously when you spend as much replying to me.  And don't give yourself too much credit. It takes literally as long to wait for my print job to finish as it does to reply to you. I spend my time on GGD because it is fun, at least I'm not afraid to own it.

I'm not dumb enough to fail to notice that I have a way higher reputation and post count than you. It would be peak hypocrisy for me to shame you for spending time here when clearly I've wasted much more of my time on this platform than you have. If that wasn't enough, here I am taking the time to reply to ever single thing you're trying to blame me for. This whole thing about paragraphs came from your smart little line that went like 'i was under the assumption that a paragraph was not too much for you to read', which in turn was a baseless jab in reply to something taken completely out of context. You can come up with ways to mask your lame attempt at dragging (really uncreatively) people, but by the end of the day, you just demonstrate that you have no idea how to argue with reason and just made a fool out of yourself. 

People who drop by to make a comment on pop stars won't care enough to check out their whole discography. It's a comment. If it's shady but in a funny way people let it slide. Not you though. 

Are you not capable of remembering what you posted? You tried to imply in your comment down here that I had to write a whole paragraph, whereas ironically you have written 10; Yeah sure, my jab came out of nowhere.

Idon't what you qualify as that whisper voice but i guess her earlier songs had a fuller tone

 

 

 

I kind of am nostalgic... But I don't really mind the hushed voice. It's the direction she wants to go in I guess. The thing is that people are lumping her in the whisper basket with selena who uses it as a way to conceal her lack of musicality, whereas billie falls more on the sabrina claudio spectrum, with extremely melodic whispery tomes that still hold the power of each note and are able to create mesemrizing harmony, as you hear in when the party's over and the end of xanny

Well since there's so many people saying she's just another teeny/angsty pop artist, here goes:

I'll be 30 next month which makes me (I'm sure) one of the oldest GGD members  which means I've experienced Madonna's prime, Britney, Christina, Beyonce, Gaga, and now Billie. What I'm asking the criticisers to do is LISTEN. Put some good headphones on and listen to Billie's album start to finish. The sound effects, the layers of production, the lyrical content, the inflection of her voice, SO complex and original. Ariana WISHES. (Not to mention that she and her brother wrote and produce ALL of her music - this is truly exceptional)

She really is innovating a sound and using elements no one else is right now (Lorde IMO started it with the "ch-ch" gun sound in "Perfect Places") so please give respecK where it is due. That's all
