This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.

I know I was told by everyone that this is their best albums and every song sounds like a single, but there's just something off that keeps me away from listening to the whole thing :cryga:

The cover and the title are huge TURN OFFs for me, and they usually play an important role

I've never listened to their music, but they better release in the US. I hate it when European artists come to the States to record music/do business but never actually pay it forward by promoting in the country they were given the chance to work in and make connections. It really does make them seem like leeches (I'm talking about EU artists in general here, not just LM). American artists are way better at paying it forward. There are plenty of European hitmakers (most of them Swedish) that would be happy to work with them.

I'm glad they're following it up soon because LM5 was not only a surprised commercial under-performance but I thought it was their only album that was less than acceptable. They need to get to releasing another album this year if they want to hold onto their fame and success because their new material just isn't hitting as hard as the singles from their previous 2 albums. I mean, basically every song from Get Weird and Glory Days were hits and so far, only the lead single got anywhere and couldn't even get #1 and their second single isn't working despite a rapper being added. They need to get back into the amazing catchiness that their previous 2 albums had. Something got lost for this album and it's disappointing as they worked 2 years on it and you expect that the longer an album takes, the better it should be.

Really? From what I heard, most people think it's a step down and its shown in the sales. Get Weird was their best for me, followed by Glory Days, so to go from that to this was a downgrade. They're the most Americanised they've ever been on this album and song after song sounds kinda the same. This is also their most RnB album and while I don't mind that, I miss their more pure pop side, so yeah, there's no songs like Shout Out To My Ex there. Also disappointed that the best song, Woman's World, was only available on the deluxe edition.

i get your point, with their previous albums they did quite a lot of promo including interviews at radio stations and performances on tv and acoustic sessions in the US. They have put a lot of effort in the past to try and make it in the US but it hasn't happened yet!

yeah i didn't like the title either but honestly i just love the album! it's definitely a different sort of sound for them and the way they talk about it they really love it! They did a whole acoustic set for Apple in London a few months back, check it out on youtube it was amazing!

Definitely give the album a chance! :)

i get your points tbh, i personally think Glory Days & LM5 are my favourite albums, but the others are amazing too! I agree with you the past era's did so much better commercially, but they are still killing it!

i feel like the public are too busy bashing them for what they wear :saladga:I'm so excited for new music, Jesy said a new single is coming this year and 'soon'

You should cuz it’s really good!  Highlights for me were Monster in Me, More Than Words, Wasabi, Strip, and Forget You Not. They’re so underrated!
