Hate?

Read the Koran!

I was raised Muslim and still have a Muslim family. And I went to mosque growing up so i have read it.

Yes it took time for them to come round but we still have a great relationship even though i'm gay. Like it has been said before it's often barbaric culture and traditions that can be seen in all corners of the world. Not just the Islamic ones.

The Bible says plenty of stuff about enslaving people, genocide, homophobia, sexism etc...

Thats why it should never be taken seriously.

People are dieing because of this ancient book!

People are dying because they're being taught by their parents to kill others/ or being radicalized online

You don't read a Qur'an and become evil immediately

You should read it because you are making fool of yourself right now because only mention of killing someone in Quran is on the sin list.

The interesting thing is even the Bible doesn't say to kill homosexuals (even tho it disapproves of it)

Growing up in a religious family I had to learn and study a lot about the Bible so I know more than most

The parts of the Bible that talk about stoning people for certain sins (including homosexuality) is actually the law given to Israel specifically who was supposed to be God's Nation but when Jesus came to earth that law (Mosaic Law) was abolished...

So if u really look at the context and in what circumstances those stonings were meantioned they actually we're never commands for the general population to do the same but most hateful religious conservative extremists either ignore that fact or they aren't even aware of it

Law is based on Islam!

Just like in every muslim country!

There is a difference between hating on a religion and hating people who impose unacceptable laws under the pretext of religion. Check yourself.

You told me to read the Qu'ran...

Didn't think I did? Plus didn't think I had an openly accepting Muslim family...

Because it goes against what you just said.

If it's the book or the religion that is inherently evil, then my family shouldn't be this way at all. Now you changed your tune real quick.

This is not true

There's more than 50 muslim country around the world and most of them laws are not based on religions (tunisia- Turkish -Lebanon.. Etc) ... So what u said is absolutely wrong and misleading.

Also u sound like an islamophobic guy that know nothing about Quran and it's different interpretations.
