The point of ARTPOP was a "lack of responsibility". Gaga has talked about how it is a fun album. Both artists have fun yet meaningful songs. I do think Gaga was putting out better material with depth when she was Ariana's age. In my opinion, Sexxx Dreams is a pretty interesting song and it's very experiemental. Pretty much ART&POP having a conversation.

this might be an unpopular opinion here but I don't think every song off an artist's catalogue is meant to be performed live or should be performed live, like some songs are just for listening (e.g. ari's get well soon & most of maroon 5's discography  ) while others might sound & feel even better when it's performed live

I wanted to hear it, but im not surprised/upset, it is kind of a vibe song that might not be the best for a generally high octane pop performance
