Brown Eyes 0
This. By the way it makes her such a hypocrite - why did she criticize Russia and Putin? She is not even Russian, she has no idea about it's culture, history, she doesn't know even the language...
Jeff Kunst 0
Just like you made it all up that she's just trying to spark up a discussion about the merits of criticism of art. You don't know that any more than whatever you're trying to argue against. I'm doing my fair share of subjective interprtation, sure. But I'm trying to interpret what Gaga is actually saying and not a bunch of baseless rumors and most negative possible assumptions. What Gaga has actually been saying is not "woe is me, feel sorry for me". Like she just did not say that. She has been focusing mainly on the general concept and role of criticism- don't take my word for it, just read her words. Lmao Ikr? I love these kind of arguments, everything is always brought down to "It's all subjective!!!" or "she's just a human!!!" Well in this situation is not subjective since Gaga herself refuses to acknowledge the meaning of that word. Well criticism is subjective and she is human. No she doesn't. No Angel 128
Its a bad theory because its not based on any facts. It has no foundation. Because you made it all up. Just like your past posts claiming she is dealing with criticism quite well, but we wouldn't have a clue because we don't know what tone she is speaking in? All I feel about this situation is that she is whining and she's let the criticism get to her. She isn't practicing what she's preaching. She once said in 2011 "You've got to stop crying and go kick some ass." All I'm getting from her this past month is "You've gotta stop kicking ass, and begin crying." She's put herself in this position amongst her fans where she is the leader and she is strong and she inspires them. No one said she's not allowed to have bad days, but her acting like a victim (let me tell you now before you call my theories bad or untruthful, they are theories. She may/may not be the victim.) isn't going to get her anywhere. So as she makes these posts about "depression" and how it's going to change one day, obviously they are going to get concerned and mad. But we should also consider Troy's feelings and how he may not be the one at fault. That's my point in this. Agree to disagree cause this is obviously going no place. No, the entire tone of everything she posts is very melancholy. These are not the words of the strong woman who questioned the status quo. These are the words of a wounded artist who wants to know "You still agree with me, right?"

Listen, as I said, I'd love to take your words for that over hers, trust me. When I read what she said, I feel second hand embarrasment after first 4 sentences and then I don't feel anything because she made absolutely 0 sense whatsoever. Jeff Kunst 0
Yeah, great look, just look at the replies in this thread. She's being taken very seriously. Also, reviews for ARTPOP are being revised all across the web, saying "You're right! How dare we judge you since we've never recorded a pop album? It's probably great! But how would we know since we've never recorded a pop album?" She can't control whether people actually consider what she's actually saying. That is our responsibility, not hers. You get to choose. I've pointed out over and over that she's not necessarily telling the critics to revise their opinion of her. What makes you think she is? She hasn't been sending these messages to them, she's been posting them to her fans.

Truth 90
Great post! I completely agree with you. I hope, she will get her **** together. On top of that it would be nice, if she would stop posting such a preachy mess on Twitter or LM. Well, thank you! I've been a fan of her since 2008, I really wish her all the best, but I'm not blinded. And sad she posts such things on LM, her own site, where she knows that nobody is allowed to disagree with her... This is not how artists should behave... arguing that you are right and your work is the best is acceptable in kindergarten, not in music industry or any serious profession... Actually you do choose the tone that you use to read any message in text. That is a fact. And I didn't claim to know she's dealing with criticism well. How about agreeing that making up rumors out of nothing isn't a good way to get to the truth?
BricksNStrings 215
And people said Born This Way alienated the fandom... In any case it was just the beginning, because ARTPOP has become an absolute unstoppable disaster. The general public was already tired of her cheap talking, but now lot of us are leaving too... Its just boring how she talks about music in such a poetic way and how she has such a high vision of herself, and then she ends up releasing a basic pop album lol just leave then if you feel this way

I don't want to start anything but where is this huge ego coming from? i'm sure it's always been there but my god why is she acting like she is above criticism?? BricksNStrings 215
Why are you guys saying she is "losing it"? No she isn't. It's her view and opinion. Just because she wasn't as direct about it before doesn't mean it just came about and it certainly does not mean she is weak, insecure, and failing. You guys read so far into everything and make everything so damn negative. I agree that Gaga should stop talking about it and focus on the damn music and performances instead, but **** guys. Relax a bit! 90% of you sound like you're about to jump ship. It's stupid. If Gaga's comment on a LM post makes you this upset then step away. It's not the end of the world. lol this. dear lord. gaga, what is happening? I don't want to start anything but where is this huge ego coming from? i'm sure it's always been there but my god why is she acting like she is above criticism?? she isn't saying only she is, she's saying all artists are. read. Why call me out and not the other 300 people who said the same thing I did?

Hey. Calm down. I did read. Why call me out and not the other 300 people who said the same thing I did? sorry, wasn't trying to call you out. your post just caught my eye because it sort of sums up what a lot of people are saying, which is that this is about her thinking she is above criticism, when she really is just talking about art in general, everyone's art. i didn't mean to single you out, sorry if my post seemed agressive
