It was filmed weeks before it was released, and it was released on its planned release date. This era ****ing sucks. Plan + execute is the planning stages and filming, not the editing. You don't know how long she had to plan the Applause video. It was shot in mid July and released in mid August. So that's only one month of editing in itself. At what point will she do something that you guys deem "right" enough that you'll lay off her? We're fans. We're not her mom, her manager, her record company. We're supposed to like her. All these comments make it sound like you couldn't care less about her feelings, her creative vision, her own personal career (not yours btw). I might be one of those "delusional" fans that "agrees with everything she does" (which I'm not, but for the sake of the argument, let's say I am), but what makes tearing her down until she's nothing but record sales and chart places a better fan than one that enjoys the music regardless of how she performs to the GP? Gaga has obviously been through some issues in the past few months, a lot of them sounding like they were out of her control, yet she has given us a near perfect album, some iconic performances, a wonderful music video, tour dates, and more. It's always more, more, more. She's a human being. Let her be one. This. Troy got her on the top of Forbes list for how many years and helped her build a mini empire which is Lady Gaga. She didn't do it all on her own. No matter what she is also responsible for a lot of stuff that has happened. And if Troy used her or wasn't there for her the way she needed him to be well maybe there was also reasons he wasn't around. Gaga was abusing alcohol and d--gs and partying a lot behind the scenes. No manager wants to deal with that nonsense. She was having a good 'ol time being stoned and Troy was left to run sh*t because well she doesn't care about money blah blah blah. Plueeeez give me a break all this whining and Troy finger pointing is making me sick. GaGa YOU are responsible for everything going on right not. Own up and move on and stop with excuses, empty promises and apologies. Quite frankly a lot of your hardcore fan base is tired of it. Has it ever occurred to you that her d--g abuse may have been due to unnecessary stress that people may have been putting on her while she was injured/recovering? This is super interesting to hear, though it sounds like she didn't push back when she should have after the surgery, or she forced herself to feel better faster than she should have but then realized she should have waited longer but management couldn't undo the plans that were already set into action. I remember her mentioning that the iTunes Festival performance was physically painful for her to do because she was still recovering from the surgery. Makes sense now. And that's the Fame. I wouldn't go that far, maybe something happened with him pushing her when she wasn't at 100% yet. The way she's speaking, Troy didn't care if she was fully healed but he threw her in with the lions with a busted hip. Magoo 6 Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 Sounds to me like Troy was the head of her management team, consisting of several people; like she has a creative team (the Haus) and a security team; and that when Troy left the remaining members of the management team (whoever they are) just chose to screw her over instead of say helping with the video logistics - so they are gone also now. Right now we know that the following months should probably be better than the last two months. The DWUW mess is, hopefully, over. We probably won't get the video. Oh well, let's move on then. I would have loved to watch it but if I can't, then I won't cry over it. That's not what Gaga wants, she wants us to appreicate what she does. I don't think so since she said the video was LATE which would emply that it will eventually come out. Now that i look back on it, it's mind blowing that is not the label that is holding the video back and they've been editing it for 2 months...what the hell? in before the video is 30 minutes long.
