I see this on GGD and Twitter, LMs act like she's the sole artist saving the genre There are other girls putting out BETTER pop music right now. Do artists not exist to you guys if they're not white blonde and cis? Do you need your pop girls to be Gaga clones for you to enjoy them? Does an artist only exist to you if they're charting on Billboard? I really don't understand. If you want some good pop music get into these girls. Thanks for coming to my ted talk. Someone who could make a great show out of a simple bop and make it sound like the song of the year. That's what I'm looking for anyway. Ava seemed like she had potential in the beginning but now I've seen more of her she's fizzling out into obscurity much like the artists you mentioned above. Carly Rae might make cute bops but where's the fierce attitude and the big theatrical show? She just seems like a cute girl to me, there's nothing special going on to keep me interested. Give it a chance She's not super polished or a great vocalist but she has crazy energy and stage presence. Her shows are like a party. She doesn't take herself too seriously.
