She needs to fire her production team

It's not entirely her fault - I can see why she would want to perform the show she has helped to create - but it's her team who should know and prepare for these sort of technicalities and it's inexcusable that such a large production for a world tour is unaware of how much power they need to run the show and how much power the venues can provide. That's not Nicki's job - but bottom line is it's her name on the billboards.

I mean, other artists have done their huge shows in these venues, right? What is she using so much power for?

Her ego.

It's quite hard to believe her team didn't know for the power thing tho... It's among the very first things you would check while scheduling a tour so maybe they prefer to play this card in the cities where less fans came rather than having empty arenas showing that nicki's less popular than she used to be.

It's not her job to check indeed but since it already happened on this tour she should have been asking her team for proofs that the arenas were able to welcome the show if not re-check herself each time. She often insisted in public on how she was the boss bitch and not a puppet etc so she could take a minute to contact each arena herself to avoid the risk to let down her fans again.

The first time her mic was on and she didn't try to rap acapella a few songs or anything. This time a dude came to say it was cancelled and nicki didn't bother to talk to her fans who waited her for 2h30... Whatever the details are it's obvious that she didn't do her best so her fans will struggle to forgive how careless she appears.

It is hard to believe - but it makes no sense to do this as some trick due to poor attendance. It's bad business and it makes no sense financially. Neither Nicki, nor the production company, are making money travelling around with her entire stage and set up, setting it up in an arena and then pulling out and having to refund tickets. The costs would be piling up.

Never mind  the reputation loss this causes... Why would I buy a ticket if Nicki comes to my city? I know she has cancelled twice - she could cancel on me. Why would I buy a ticket if I was in one of those cities and Nicki came back? I remember last time. It doesn't make sense from a financial perspective.

This is pure incompetence and the only action Nicki should be taking is having those discussions with her production management, finding ways to solve the problem, firing people who need to be fired and moving forward. Nicki can't be cancelling more shows unless it's unfeasible to make changes - then she should cancel the entire tour.

Sorry, but I don't expect Nicki to be producing the tour herself while on the road - I don't expect her to be an expert on that. Not only do I doubt she knows her tour's electric capacity, the legalities involved in producing a tour or the arena's capacity but I doubt she would know creative solutions to any problems that may arise. She pays people to sort that **** out, they should be sorting that **** out - if they can't they need to go.

Hard to know if they would prefer to lose money on some dates here or there rather than having the artist looking "cancelled" by her own fans. I know it's not good for business to not look has been, not in demand etc since it can make many followers run away from you as well so it's hard to know...

Well it's not up to her to know each detail for sure but knowing that your show require a certain capacity then mailing the arena to know it's okay is possible even for the singer.

I am thinking that Nicki's team designed the lights to conform to American laws and they used incandescent bulbs. These bulbs might be more regulated in Europe, where there is a lot more green initiative legislation. It is likely the overuse of incandescent bulbs is prohibited because people should be using fluorescent and LEDs at this point, especially for a huge stage show with thousands of bulbs. Just a guess.
