From techno, to jazz, to country, nothing is ever too crazy for Gaga. But if there is one genre that she has hinted at or played with since the bigenning of her career, but never fully acted on it, that would be metal/rock. Before Gaga became famous she was dancing to Black Sabath and Metallica. When Gaga released the TF and TFM she attracted many metal fans do to her powerful voice and because according to many, her songs were “metal songs with pop sounds”. To continue, the BTW era had strong influences of rock and instutrial fashion and music. The ARTPOP had the instudrial EDM sounding Swine, and Joanne was also full of rock influences. Finally, Gaga gave one of her most rock star like performances when she performed Shallow this year at the Grammys. Imagine her singing smashes like "Sweet Child of Mine", "Fortunate Son", "Hotel California, "Hey Jude" etc. The acclaim would be out of this world. I think it would be fantastic if she joined a band temporarily and released a one-off album because for metal it's extremely important that all instruments are doing something interesting, so not just a few pop chords with a dominant vocal melody in a "metal jacket" so to speak, that would be a disaster and I don't think she really knows how to write a fabulous guitar riff, solo or interesting drum pattern. After all we don’t know when the date of LG6’s release. We don’t even know what kind of sound it will have other than possible producers. And even then, she could always scrap what she already did.
