It’s super catchy and I’d actually advocate for releasing it if it weren’t for the silly “ass like that” lyric that is super juvenile (clearly purposefully, since it was the precipitating moment leading to Ally & Jackson’s huge fight).

I wasnt a big fan of this song but I'll admit it grew and haunted my head! It gets so stuck inside my brain, I feel like why did she do that to ME!

Fun little essay attached to it. I enjoyed it. Basically saying there's nothing wrong with semi-bad pop songs and that the cliché of authenticity is becoming stale and bland.

Honestly anything from the soundtrack sent for Best Original Song has a shot of being nominated/winning.
