PI flopped cause it was too screamy. Shallow can be considered pop rock and didn't flop. If it is something people can just sing along I think it can be huge. She needs to find a balance like she does in Shallow, Bad Romance, Poker Face, Alejandro, Dance In The Dark, Marry The Night, The Edge Of Glory, Million Reasons, You and I, Joanne... josephalexander 156 Posted March 7, 2019 Share Posted March 7, 2019 I feel like it’s going to be a hybrid of industrial techno / pure pop / industrial rock and really weird and experimental especially with producers like SOPHIE, Boys Noize, Skrillex, and Bloodpop. It’s something she’s dabbled in on BTW and she has lots of background with like true techno artists like Surgeon and Lady Starlight and then using modular synths with BN... it’s gonna be f*cking sick is all I’m saying. And modular synths are so cool because it’s not like a sound you can reuse once you unplug patch cables unless you write down the hundreds of connections you used so it will absolutely sound like nothing else in the mainstream pop market. Plus, her voice has matured so much and has so much power so like... her raw voice will SOAR over just disgusting beats and basslines. And I’m sure we’ll also get her signature growling and screaming to go with it. I just feel it in my bones. Bookmark me. GAGA is coming for blood with LG6.
