She is an intelligent woman and successful politician but both her and obama's legacies are tarnished by that fact. Bernie lost because he didn’t get enough votes. He fell too far behind on Super Tuesday. He gained traction, but he simply got in too late, didn’t have a game plan for minorities and his campaign was playing catch up. Obama’s legacy is not tarnished by an Independent from the state of Vermont.

Hillary was absolutely out of touch with the electorate, and I am not saying misogyny wasn't a part of it, because it absolutely was, but she was unable to recognize the populism that was rising in both the democratic party and the republican party. The democratish establishment today has even shifted their approach and their platforms by learning what Clinton had failed to. even when she tried to make up for it by pandering to young and POC voters. I entirely agree with you, which is why I voted for Sanders over Clinton in the last primary and would do so again had she decided to run in 2020. That wasn't the point of my post. That wasn't the point of my post. well im glad to hear we agree on the issues, but i think then you're just kind of misconstruing the criticism that is in the context of the internet. In my opinion most people who say "the evil has been defeated," or other sarcastic/ridiculous things regarding her do not see her as a true adversary or even a bad person, and the vast majority would agree she would be light years ahead of trump. The backlash is reflective on the mistakes we as a nation made with Clinton and it is long overdue, it's just spoken memes and hyperboles because (for better or for worse) that's what cyberspace does lol. Hillary is a power hungry career politician. She needs to quietly fade away and go enjoy her family. Sheesh. I knew there was something wrong with her when 8 years in the Whitehouse wasn't enough for her. And if I hear anyone else mention Oprah as candidate for President I will have lost any hope I still have for the future of this country. This isn't supposed to be poorly scripted and produced reality tv. There is no respect for the position amongst the citizens. It's turned into a pop culture social media clusterf**k. Both of the major political parties have become extreme versions of themselves and extremists scare the s**t out of me. Correct? There is a disparity between this site's treatment of Clinton and Obama. We know Obama is not coming back for an other term so I guess people worry way less about him since he's not a danger anymore. PS: Clinton had the same flaws Obama had and more as well so maybe it explain that.

There are a lot of compromises you have to make because it means that you can get this other thing over here. And if you think that you can go to Washington and be rainbows and butterflies the whole time, you're living in a fantasy world. So now, having said that, think about what a female has to do with that: All of those compromises, all of that stuff, double it by ten. And you get to understand who this woman is and how powerful, persuasive, brilliant, and resilient she is. Any female executive, anybody who has been put to the side — women, blacks, gays — for them to succeed in a white-male-dominated culture is an act of brilliance. Of resilience, of grit, of everything you can imagine. So, Is she in bed with Wall Street? Goddammit, I should hope so! You've got to dance with the devil. So which of the horrible people do you want? That's more of the question. Do you want a pompous braggart who doesn't know anything about diplomacy? Or do you want a badass bitch who knows how to get **** done? That's really the question." Yes you can't always have all that you want in politic indeed but MANY politicians, including other women, didn't become as big switchers as HRC or even close so she surely adopted the most comfortable positions to hold quite often no? BrickMonster 2,810
i don't get why so many people are still hating on her when she (finally) did the right thing. i honestly feel she AND bernie should sit this out out for the sake of their party (even if there was a path to victory). we don't need that baggage and division in this cycle if they want trump out. that's my two cents.
