I was watching a youtube video the other day listing rare facts about Gaga and I felt so old. So many new monsters now that stan twitter champions Gaga. I feel like a great part of my memory is just random facts that came after visiting GGD almost daily for 8 years :flop: I feel SO OLD, but also proud that I stayed through every meltdown and unmet promises and through her rebirth in the public eye.

How many others feel that way? I want support :cryga:

I feel REALLY old right now. I was just looking at LoveGame performances and I bearly noticed that LoveGame is turning 10 years old this month (as a single) and its crazy tbh. Looking back at The Fame Ball makes me feel so nostalgic because when I see these videos, I think "Wow this is the same person who won an Oscar and sang Shallow"

T O T A L L Y.

I remember when she was just the "batshit crazy chick" who everyone used to dismiss back during the TF era. I was around for the days when it was heavily rumored that she was a hermaphrodite (:messga:). I was there when everyone was gagged by 2009 VMA performance. I was there when she scandalized the WORLD with the meat dress.

The funny part is, I'm still only 20, and yet I feel so old because I've watched her career evolve ever since the first time I heard LoveGame and googled what disco stick meant. :air:

Browsing GagaDaily multiple times every single day has been a daily ritual for me for about a decade now. :deadbanana:

I’m 19 but when I think back on every single thing that happened in my life the past 10 years, and how Gaga was there the entire time I feel so old. I was a little monster throughout all my preteen and teen years, and now I’m basically an adult :messga: I feel 25 tbh

I'm 24. I started to stan Gaga when I was in high school.

Actually in this community I don't feel "old" because there are also a lot of other monsters in here who are either as old or older than I am. It's more welcoming.

I feel so much older in the K-Pop community. They're all below 20 years old :air:

I became and official monster in summer 2010, and joined GGD in 2012.

I vividly remember feeling like a newbie reading through comments of veteran monsters recapping memories from TF/TFM/BTW era; now I feel old af after going through ARTPOP, CTC, AHS: Hotel, Joanne and ASIB eras knowing some monsters here don’t even know what SkypeBall is.

What is SkypeBall? Could you explain? How nice was it? Could you delve more into detail about how it was to live it at that time as an hardcore little monster?

Spoiler

joking i know what it is hahahahahaha i'm so very happy to have become a stan after the SkypeBall just because of the SkypeBall.

I'm 19, and have only been a fan since 2014, so yeah... I feel like I've missed a lot. When I see some of y'all being younger than me and still have been stans for 10 years I feel like a real fake fan.

I've been following Gaga since PF. I'm also 30 and this thread has made me very uncomfortable and suddenly, ancient :cryga:

I was already a 16 y/o teenager at high school when she came out, so yeah I feel old. Because 2008 was a waaaay different time, and every time someone mentions that year I'm like holy ****, those were the years I grew up. So long ago. Britney's break down and comeback, the world's introduction to Lady Gaga, no smartphones... those were my teen years :wtfga:

I still remember sitting in photography class and seeing the video for Bad Romance for the first time on the computer in front of me. I couldn't believe it :laughga:   we had no idea what was coming.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I was 20 when BR came out and I remember downloading the mp3 (:vegas:) on my flip phone. The first time I heard it I had no idea what I was listening to and thought she had gone mad. I didn't like it at all. But I also said The Fame was a lame album and she was overrated. What did I know? :ladyhaha:

Sidenote: Imagine being in your early 20s at the height of Gaga's rise to fame, it was SO magical at the gay club :flower:
