ItsTommyBitch 12,640
BTD is Lana's worst album, but it is still quite iconic for many reasons, I agree. When I first heard it its all I listened to for several several months. It has a really unique charm that is not for everyone.. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
AJRocketMan 2,684
I wouldn’t call it a masterpiece, but it probably has the most personality of all her records. It’s her most commercial album (every song is catchy and has a pop song structure) and the closest Lana came to ever having a distinct musical style. Starting with Paradise she slowly began to conform to traditional 20th century genres like Baroque Pop and Jazz (namely Gods and Monsters, Yayo, and Bel Air with the rest being the pop style of BTD), moving on to Rock and then Baroque Pop again with her later records. And the Born To Die era had the most promo of all her album campaigns. Paradise and Lust for Life were extremely front-loaded in terms of promotion and Ultraviolence and Honeymoon were very sparse. Also, anyone notice how Lana and Gaga are treating their upcoming albums in completely opposite ways?

Does anybody know why the bonus tracks and the Paradise EP aren't available on Spotify anymore? Cause spotify is a flop.
