I came to work yesterday and all my coworkers (who are middle-aged republican women and were not Gaga fans but got won over because of yeehaw + ASIB) were gushing about the performance. They said they loved it and exceeded their expectations. They were defending the performance as something pure and full of emotion and a sign of great acting. They said the media shouldnt bring the girlfriend in the performance because the two people on that stage were nominated for best actor and best actress. Im like, wow.
