One of the wekest Gaga's performance lmao but i'm glad the GP is stupid in this case.

tell me a better performance. (except for Sound of the Music) cant wait,

and its absolutely disgusting you are calling GP stupid.

if you were a true singer or you knew of music you would know that singing practically a capella is very difficult, it is the terror of the singers, even the most professional.

They did an amazing job. stay pressed

I get it but also what about singers at senior recitals where they are graded on how well they sing? They have to be just as nervous cause it makes or breaks whether they graduate or not. And the professor can’t just give them points because they were nervous because everyone is.

I get it, they were nervous but there were still flaws and if someone doesn’t like it because of them - then it’s fine.

Unneccesary hate is always wrong though 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bradley Cooper is not a singer though. He was terrified and up until about a month ago or something he didn't want to perform live. It seemed obvious to me that Gaga felt nervous on his behalf when he was singing and this wasn't a professor they had to impress. It was a room full of the top people in the film industry and Gaga is a fish out of water in that world. (Not any more though). Of course she would have been nervous she had a lot of people to impress and the world was also watching.

I do get what you are saying but I just think this is one occasion where the imperfections should be overlooked. They both did a great job regardless.

Woah dude chill out.

Everyone can have an opinion and it’s true it’s not the best performance technically, I mean Bradley stumbles on some notes not smoothly in the beginning and Gaga seems to be withholding I don’t know for Bradley’s sake or not but I know she could do better. Does that bother me at the end? No cuz it made it raw and matched the rawness of the camera following them.

Its just you can’t blindly say it was a flawless performance.

But the stage presence, the beginning ,and the ending are her best in this whole ASIB era.

Literally, even how they filmed this Oscars performance looked like a scene from the film (filming from behind). Their chemistry was INSANE. How was it one of her weakest? 😂😂😂 i loved it, way better than that messy enigma one where she got on her knees, etc etc

I’ve went to college for music 😅 my boyfriend is a choral major at the moment.

Its my opinion. I didn’t hate the performance - it was just obvious the nerves got to both of them. Sorry I don’t have to praise all of it :huntyga:

I’m in the minority but her Grammys version was pitchy. This one wasn’t flawless but that’s what happens you have emotion and sing live...

May I Read You? 😎

Harris Walz 2024

If you can't find joy in this performance, you don't have joy in your life. It was full of raw power and emotion. It was a sublime moment. Time stood still. I am so glad that I was born more of a feelings type person than a technical mind

The performance is trending #1 on YouTube in the US.

I think, given the nearly unprecedented level of adulation the performance is receiving from critics and the public alike, that it’s just a little ridiculous her own fans are here bitching about some minor flaws that no one else detected.

I mean, people outside of this fanbase are obsessed with this performance, and yet her own fans are unable to enjoy it because of the impossibly high standards they’ve placed upon Gaga?

Very unfortunate.

But what we need the audience to do is stream and buy Shallow

They are. Following the awards show on Sunday night, “Shallow” sold more than all the other four BOS nominees combined.

And it’s back to being #1 WW on iTunes (for the 114th day), and the Oscars performance is the #1 trending video on YouTube.

I don’t honestly see how much better it could possibly be doing. It’s the biggest song of the past year, and keeps growing even after the promotion for the movie has officially ended.

At this point, it’s transitioned from a hit song to an actual moment in pop culture. I mean, Gagley even received two separate standing ovations at the Oscars, which has apparently never occurred before, and that was just the reaction from their own peers

It will wind up becoming one of Gaga’s biggest classic hits, along with BR and PF.

It's all about the longevity and how it holds through the week on itunes/spotify. If it repeaks in the top 5 on BB hot 100, that will fuel further positive media attention onto her. :gayhat:
