You're stupid too. You must be to make a comment like that.

Why be so negative in this instance. It was unnecessary.

Where?!

i don’t get the hate for this performance. I thought it was phenomenal and the most professional she’s been since the SB.

Honestly, I think their performance during Enigma was better. Especially Bradley sounded better then.

I actually agree with you even though we have an unpopular opinion.

I feel like Gaga really took on Bradley's nerves, she was sharp in parts. They were much more relaxed at Enigma. I don't blame them though, I mean the camera was literally in their face.

Everything about it was still so beautiful though, the vocals are just one element, but it all came together :vegas:

The nerves from the both of them made the performance even more raw. That's why people ignored the "flaws" in their vocals.

Emotion > Technicality everyday. Their performance made me tear up.

^^^^ The emotional and cinematographic perfection of this performance made any perceived technical "flaw" (which really there was not any) quite irrelevant. A great performance is just that.

How about instead of calling the GP stupid, which comprises of millions of people from different backgrounds, you consider the alternate possibility that... your tastes are? :ally:

!!!! and of course there are lots of known instances where Gaga's technicality and emotion are both flawless, but why criticize that now when clearly it added more charm and passion to the whole performance? That's what people saw. That's why they loved it regardless.

It wasn't as technically excellent as her last Oscars performance (the Sound of Music tribute was simply masterclass vocals) but this performance managed to touch a lot of people, including those who aren't Gaga fans, in a very memorable and positive way. The emotion of performing can be a more powerful weapon than endless perfect notes.

This! It was really beautiful and for any other popstar this would be their most perfect performance but gaga herself has raised the bar so high vocally. Her voice was a little strained and shaky compared to other live performances of her which is normal cause she’s probably exhausted at this point. But she’s been doing flawless out of this world vocals for some years now that the tiniest bit of strain gets noticed. It was still amazing and beautiful tho but vocally she has done better. Not being negative. Just objectively pointing out some little flaws.

For example her Aaah belt. She sang it with easier vowels to reach the note cause the A vowel came out kind of strained for example.

still one of my fave performances cause I had goosebumps all over my body from start to finish

People can’t dislike the performance? I really didn’t think the Oscars night was as stellar as I was hoping for.

Bradley and her squeaked out a few of the notes and she was huffing and puffing throughout which really messed up the flow of the lyrics.

Was it the worst performance ever? No. Was it not her best? Yes and that’s ok 🤷🏻‍♂️
