Ariana is a sweet girl, and I know her ignorance isn't malicious, but I hope she at least unpack how her actions could easily be perceived. I know several Japanese folk don't mind her kind of odd usage of Japanese characters in an "aesthetic" kind of way, and that she has a genuine interest in the language and culture, but it can still be seen as pretty weird. Her tanning and adoption of "hood" lingo is also kind of strange. It really needs nothing more than a radio impact date, a late night show performance and a TTH placement and the song will slay on its own. She doesn’t need to do much and it won’t overexpose her.
