EDM is an umbrella term for upbeat music made with synthesizers. Techno, House, and Industrial fall under that. Industrial can also be slow too or even non-electronic. “EDM” is not it’s own unique genre. Also, Pop is too broad of a term as it could encompass anything. Perhaps you mean synth-pop/electropop?
