Surprised Lil’ Kim never won for any of her solo records!

I think in the case of Nicki, her most popular songs have always been more on the Pop side of Hip-hop/Rap where there have been better contenders in said categories.

That being said. Most of her 10 Grammy Nominations have been in some sort of Rap category (I.E album, song or performance) so not sure what she’s doing wrong. She should have at least taken the  Best New Artist category in 2012 - but lost to Bon Iver :green:
