TheQueenLG 2,469
Hey sistrens! I've developed some extreme anxiety recently over Gagz's shallow vocals. Yes, of course, they were perfect in the movie and she performed it live. However, in all of the enigma shows she has really struggled to reach the high "meet" note and has often botched it completely. Please understand that I love her and am not trying to put her down. I can't imagine all of the strain that rehearsals/performing puts on her vocal cords, etc. I just have anxiety that she might struggle to reach the note at the awards shows. I'm just curious how she will approach singing shallow at the Grammy's and Oscars when she has struggled a bit doing it in Vegas... What are your thoughts? Am I being too obsessive (I do have OCD) or is this something that you think is actually on her radar right now? Do you think resting her vocal cords + some work with her vocal coach during this short time off will solve the problem and allow her to hit the note? Rat Boy 43,591
I personally have never heard an issue with it. Regardless, I don't think this is anything to be anxious about. Just relax and appreciate all of her recent achievements/success. "****ing rat" - @Dynamite
KatieJudasGaga4 67,907
I think its mostly due to Shallow being performed last in her shows. Her voice will be stronger at the Grammys and Oscars because of rehearsals and how she isn't performing in between shows like the JWT. I did notice how her vocals in last years Grammys were great, but she did struggle in some parts, but she did have shows before and after the Grammys

Babel 41,495
I completely get what you’re saying, I’ve been observing the same issue. I think the only time she hit the note properly was at one or two of the first enigma shows. It’s a hard note to hit though. the ‘ee’ sound is pretty hard to reach and substain, specially that high. I think she’ll manage a healthy way to do it at the award shows, so it doesn’t sound too strained and forced.
Didymus 34,380
I just remember stressing over that high note in TIHTY and she nailed it every time in front of the cameras so I have faith in her She'll rehearse the living **** out of it (remember The Sound of Music medley? Months of rehearsal, same with the Superbowl) and will make sure her voice is rested properly. That's totally different from just having performed for nearly two hours and being exhausted
MEM 3,114
Shallow is the hardest thing to sing after you’ve sung and danced to 20 songs in a row! Our girl will be hella warmed up and ready for the Grammys/Oscars and it’ll be perfect. Don’t you worry

She’ll do just fine. Don’t worry.
