littlepotter 75,130
There could be a 100 award shows and 99 nominate you for best director but 1 doesn't and that's the one he remembered chaeri pls
TheMiddleGround 3,259
He wasn’t snubbed imo. The movie had some beautiful shots but not enough. Plus the pacing is a real problem.

chipz 1,197
They didn't nominate him on purpose, it's clear as water. If he was nominated ASIB would have 10 noms (+ the diting nom) The academy clearly wanted to prevent that happening
Mirages 20,259
They better give him an oscar this year! He was snubbed so much this award season. Just shows that Hollywood hates remakes and Bradley. The fact that he hasn't won an Oscar or Golden Globe yet is embarassing for both institutions I'm the bitch that's fragile
Queen Bitch 10,513
I don't feel sympathy for him tbh. This is his directorial debut. It was more succesful than most other debuts and yet he cries over a single nomination he didn't get, get over yourself honestly. It should be about the passion and the craft, never about awards. But he makes it sound like he only did the movie to get awards which is shallow.mp3. Most debut directors, no matter how famous, would appreciate to get nominated for even one award, but clearly not Bradley. As if he feels he deserves to get every award there is. Entitlement much. Also I could understand if he was nominated for a Razzie, that he didn't feel like he did his job. But It's not that. This is a fcking Oscar, the highest honor there is. Other directors worked for years, decades even, before they were nominated for one, so again get over yourself. Also sorry for the rant.
Sneaky Oliver 22,109
You are a 40 years old man, B. Cooper. Don’t be so whiny
gag 22,449
You should include the video where he says it. It really doesn't come off as whiny or immature at all. He says he felt embarrassed in the moment it was announced and he seems fine with it now ("I'll work on that"). headspin, happiness, DE̤̣A̢̯͔̘T͏͙̗̟̫H̗̙͡ͅ
ryhanna 3,507
He's done incredibly well for a first time director, though. Like, when I heard he was directing the movie I honestly didn't have much faith in it to perform particularly well at either the box office or with critics (simply due to lack of experience), and he proved me so incredibly wrong. He's a natural.

Bradley 59,023
“I felt embarrassed that I didn’t do my part. Like, ‘Oh gosh, I didn’t do my job.’ But the truth is, even if I got the nomination, that should not give me any sense of whether I did my job or not. That’s the trick. The trick is to make something you believe in and you work hard.” Bradley has always reminded me the importance of not letting other people affect your opinion and judgment about something, if you truly believe in it. Really what works is what you feel when you watch the movie, of course nominations would be amazing but the fact that the audience resonated so well with the film means you've already done a good job. Harris Walz 2024 1,451
He gave us truly magical moments ! I'm never gonna forget what an out of this world experience ASIB was for me. Maybe the Academy doesn't recognize this but he should know that the GP was truly moved
