For the first time in several years, that’s a distinct rise for the Academy of Motion Picture Art and Sciences’ show. In fact, in an era when awards shows across the board have been taking viewership and demographic hit, last night’s Oscars was up 14.3% over last year’s Jimmy Kimmel-hosted affair.

Still cant believe our girl is an OSCAR WINNER. Im so proud of Gaga. And proud of all of us for believing in her and following all its charts success. Wish we could all party together to celebrate :excited:

Wow truly no Gaga no ratings.

With the Kevin Hart controversy, all the talk show hosts stating their refusal to host the show, Best Popular Film controversy, Best Original Song controversy, broadcasting of technical categories controversy,

I thought people would be reluctant to watch the Oscars but it seemed like it was the exact opposite.
