it happened 35 years ago, most of you were not even born, I was not even born, it's like if now someone will find some Homophobic remark from Obama when he was 24.

if he did that 5 years ago, I would say fine, it's wrong.. but 35.. be realistic.. mistakes can be made and from what I read about him he pretty much redeemed himself and did good for society as a politician, don't discredit him for some dumb decision from 35 years ago.

People change, he changed, stop ruining the few allies that we have in this shitty world..

there's thing called forgiveness..

It's the 80s, everyone, including your parents, grandparents, celebrities etc were racist, homophobic and basically pretty awful people, (it's the time were people, mainly celebrities and rich people, tried to legalize pedophilia for example), those people had to learn to be tolerant and to understand their mistakes and to be better people and actually this is what happened with many democrats or many celebrities for example.. if you knew how many people were racists and changed their ways during their lives, you would be shocked...

The ideas to stop racism and hate is a process that everyone had to go through from those times, including the people that important to us.
