Pretty much, and they both aim for about the same age groups. AC could also be more r&b and soul, and soft rock oriented, and then there is some pop music.

HAC for the most part just plays pop music, but they tend to avoid the songs that are geared toward a younger audience.

AC is much more ballad based, they like those slower songs and tend to play slower songs that were hits on pop radio like 1 year prior lol
