People can say that sanders is divisive cause "too much on the left" but seing how many left leaning voters seem closer to his ideas than to the center-left philosophy we got from Clinton and most of the other "big names" among the dems... I guess Sanders would still have more chance with lefties than all of the party stars who aren't deemed "extreme" like he is.

Even for after the dem' nomination of a presidential candidate, he would get more chance than the centrist-left political line that make them lose the last time. Facing Trump who's very clearly on the right and not a moderate whatsoever you need someone who's clearly on the left, not a candidate targeting some right-leaning folks he/she will never steal from Trump anyway.

The only handicap for Sanders is his age that could stop some people to vote for him... Imo the best chance for the dems to get the White House again would be a "Sandersish" program but with a younger candidate for it and no embarrassing past/ centrist_like voting record. Just my 2 cents. :D

Here for Bernie and any farther left candidates with clean, consistent voting records like his (calling you out Kamala and Beto lol) -- and, Clinton, this is just an unwise idea.

The neo-liberal Dems have got to understand Millennials and GenZ are woke and moving further left.  That's probably the only good thing out of 45 -- people are waking the f**k up to the two party binary trap! :fthis:

Exactly! Sending Clinton or a Clinton-like candidate will end up with many lefties leaving for the greens or not voting at all.

Folks can wish the masses will always play the "lesser evil" game even when both potential presidents are far away from their ideas but it's naive. They do it and, right or wrong, one day they just say f*ck off to that cause they're done. That's how it is...

Even a candidate who's program is between Clinton and Sanders philosophies would get strong chances imo.

Oh... Im sorry. But i do not and will not vote for someone over their popularity... I vote for who my thoughts align to.. So dont have the audacity to try and lecture me if your just voting for the most liked..

We really need more people understand this. It'll help solve the root of America's problems. Trump won because he aligned with so many people's thoughts. Racism is still alive and well. (the electoral college should die but that's another issue)

New York Daily News is a pretty junky tabloid, I wouldn't take anything from that magazine seriously.

The Millennials and GenerationZ are going to have to show up and vote. They vote at half the rate of older generation groups.

If these age groups want the government to move to the left, they have to show up to vote in every single election- local, state, mid-terms and the general.

Don't take away votes from Democrats that can actually take down Trump. What a distraction that would be! NO.
