False, totally false, it must be another reason because Chrissy Metz which is bigger than her, always dressed in a custom made designer clothes, they are making all the dresses for her and actually SHE'S refusing to wear black when she's offered black dresses by the designer.

And there is also Gabourey Sidibe and many other "big size" celebrities..

I guess she's not famous enough to be bothered by designers.. she's not "selling" yet..

I think there some truth to what y’all are saying but do you guys think the fashion world is above telling a women she’s too big as an excuse to not work with her?

I think that WOULD BE super f**Ked up of them... if it happened. This could be easily debunked since there are tons of plus sized actresses nowadays getting dressed by major designers... so I think we're not getting the full story. Also she didn't name any specific designers or conversations she had with them or their management. If it's true, it's obviously wrong, but I am just not seeing the validity of her argument without facts. The fashion world has made lots of progress in the past decade w/ size inclusivity and that's why I am giving them the benefit of the doubt here

She’s the one that attacked them.

Then Aquaria actually went online and rebutted.

Aquaria seized the opportunity to have a celebrity feud under her belt. It baffles me how many people can’t see through the bs a lot of these revered drag performers put out. They literally need to be in the spotlight as much as possible for as long as possible to keep their careers afloat. That’s not meant to be an insult but it’s reality.

Why don't I believe her?

There have been too many cases recently for this to keep happening. Can't tell if she's hitting for sympathy orrrrrr

I think they were lying and actually don't want to dress her because of the way they see her image/career, not her size. It makes no sense to hold MUSICIANS to SUPERMODEL standards. Very very few musicians are a size 2 or 0. I'm sure it's the norm for designers who work with Grammy nominees to put them in something bigger than runway size.

The “big size” celebrities we see on the red carpet wearing designer are usually stars with enough fame that their size becomes obsolete to designers. I’m sure it’s not the same for “big” celebrities that have the decent level of fame that Bebe has.

She's not big enough and can't run for Versace and ask for a dress.. and honestly, she's skinny, she's just a cry baby, not the first time she's complaining about things... you don't become a star in  a day, you need to earn it.. I guess it's not her case atm, so instead of crying and being a victim, she needs to work to become a big star and then she can wear whatever she wants.

Why is everyone on here acting like Bebe isn’t popular?

Because she is a peripheral artist compared to major pop stars like Gaga, Beyonce, Katy, Ariana, etc. She is a  almost always a featured artist and the GP knows her voice from the hits of other people but knows nothing about her celebrity. Pop fans and gays pay attention to her but she doesn't have a huge fanbase.

But if she was told she was too big then she should speak out about it. A lot of people on here are acting like designers would never think about using someone’s size as an excuse to not work with them for whatever reason. It’s absolutely what a lot of them would do. Yes, Bebe is seen as a crybaby but this hardly seems like the type of thing she would make up for sympathy.

Not surprising.

The other day Megan Mullally complained about the same thing. Not because she was a size 8, but because even though there was 100% chance she would be on camera because she is hosting, no one offered to dresser her.

Designers are looking to dress with young skinny starlets or "extremely famous" personalities. Which is a shame because alot of the people they are not dressing have big followings.

Definitely unfair whatever the reason they're giving (pretty sure her size isn't the actual issue), but gurl... nothing prevents you from actually buying a dress. This is unfair that many of your peers don't have to do this, but you're basically whining because you can't get free clothes. Your followers don't get free clothes either, so they aren't the ones you should be whining at.
