That moment when the BTW era had TMB still going on

Even though the eras never overlapped, I always felt like there was a sort of smooth transition from the BTWB to the ARTPOP era. This is mainly because of how some of the themes of the BTWB overlapped with some of ARTPOPs themes, like the decay of the blonde pop star theme.

I remember having mixed feelings with those short bangs when she wore them.

They looked cute and the wig was a nice transition between TFM (color) to BTW (styling), but the bangs got all messy and weird after a couple of songs because of the dancing.

The Fame led to the Fame Ball Tour, immediately Bad Romance came, the MBT went on endlessly, right in the middle of it we got BTW. 

Not to mention TMBT was revamped so many times, there was this wonderful element of surprise. 

I say this as someone who didn't even witness.mp3 any of that and became a fan in 2015. But looking back and reading about it is wow.

Yeah, totally. The smooth transition of a triple threat of The Fame to The Fame Monster to Born This Way was phenomenal. Beyond her generally incredible work ethic, this was otherworldly, for the better and for the worse.

It was incredible. I think it tired Gaga to the point of exhaustion and the ultimate cancelation of BTWB as well as maybe losing sight of some things. But it was incredible.

At the time it wasn't weird to me at all, it felt very seem less and exciting.

I find the ENIGMA anime / Hollywood glam contrast a lot more confusing.
