wow... I honestly still can't believe they really really REALLY dropped the ball on season 8. I was sooooo excited pre-release... I figured there was NO WAY they could fu*k it up because it's the #1 show of modern times, they had two years, how could they possibly f*K it up right?? I'm being a little mean and dramatic but I honestly hope their career suffers for this. They wanted to move on to other things faster? Well, maybe don't completely ruin an iconic tv show in the wake of that. There was SO MUCH POTENTIAL.

DnD: Remember the 4 dragons in the intro? Well at the end it was revealed that samwell tarly was in reality a dragon. While we always wanted to make his character unique we wanted to add a new side which would really shock the fans.

We always knew Sam would be the one freeing Jorah from greyscales which also look like dragon skin. Really, we wanted to show how he breaks the dragon free from Jorah. It was a foreshadowing for him leaving his human apperance later beside.  Not only that but also he found out that John was a tagaryen, a son of a dragon. He red about dragons and was a friend of John. Which strengthens the connection to dragons he has. We always knew it was him who would be the turning point of the story since we indirectly were building up for this all along.

 We kinda forgot that he wanted to become a master, but ultimatly we decided that he will become the king because nobody would expect this. And this is what Game of Thrones is all about afterall.

Some people would still be loyal sheeps and buy that cut of kewl special effects. 

They go like: Omg you didnt understand. Most of you dont have the intellect to understand this. You didnt pay attention. It doesent mean nothing that most people hate it. It just means ur a simple human beeing, maybe even a child who dont like its not goin their way. It makes so much sense and im laughin at you all.

I'm annoyed they didn't portray her relationship with her dragons that much in the show. It seemed like she only cared about Drogon.

I don't think I'll be able to bring myself to watch this dumpster fire tomorrow, so I read the newer alleged spoilers on r/freefolk. Kind of hope its all true.   You know things are bad when a bizarro ending is preferable. Here for either that, or the (obviously) fake ending that includes Azor Ahai, new dragons, and soldiers armed with muskets on their way to Kings Landing because at this point I'm cool with GOT's world crumbling. When something turns awful it might as well be entertaining. It's like, I'm not even accepting this as canon anymore  so what happens feels like it has no impact or real meaning.

Omg I actually saw this video yesterday! 

I agree the writing is horrible but still stand by the fact I believe her character was destined to bring on her own demise. (The foreshadowing was there, even if it was written and handled badly in season 8). 

They just squeezed all the things that drove her mad in 5 episodes and it clearly wasn't enough for many people.

Thats what I think people dont understand when others tell them dannys ending wasnt compelling and that its bad writing. Most of us who hate the ending dont doubt that danny going mad and having a dark side, but how she got there and that she turns into a mass murderer to this extend is absurd especially when she fights for the living 2 episodes before.

 The progression is what ruined it. And the fact that they killed the character arc like that makes people angry. 

 

This will go down as the biggest fumble in tv history. 

I totally got that she might be the end boss starting in season 5, cause that’s when they really started hinting at it (probably also when they met with GRRM and he told them how it would end) 

but that has got to be the sloppiest heel turn I’ve ever seen 

Daenerys’ turn was supposed to be epic and make sense. It supposed to be heart wrenching and tragic, but instead we’re feeling like “wtf why did she do that?”

My mom’s just like oh she killed all those people because Jon rejected her
