Glittertinks 12,444
Honestly, I really wanted to say a lot more of what went down in this episode, but all the negativity and discussing is so exhausting... The only thing I will say is that it's now pretty obvious that season 7 and 8 would have needed a bunch of more episodes. I have been enjoying the quiet character moments so far, a lot of these were actually on point. But I wished to have more time to grasp the emotion, to fully let things sink in. A lot of the stuff feels rushed so of course you have moments where you're like "uh oh sisters". A few thoughts however: Spoiler - Gendry being officially named a Baratheon was a nice touch. I smiled. - I lost my **** at Brienne and Jamie and I cried at Brienne's broken heart at him. Man, I still hope for Jamie to kill Cersei and maybe survive that mess but the hope is small. - Gendry really thinking Arya would accept his proposal we laugh - Sansa being the only one to think about letting the armies rest. If this will play a role next week I will laugh - I saw a lot of Sansa hate and I am heart broken. I love her sneaky, tea spilling ass 10/10 would do that too - Sansa also had a nice moment with the Hound... - Rhaegal dying was like "woot" but honestly, the set up was so dumb... Our dear Khaleesi flying around, thinking they have freedom like in Essos. Oh bish, here comes a more advanced culture. - I liked Tyrions and Varys' little discussion. Varys was spilling some tea, but also Tyrion. - The mood was so intense you could cut it. I think a strong and still well written episode on the technical side. - But as said, the shortened season let's the audience and characters a like suffer on that journey. You especially notice that in: NK/Bran, Arya killing NK (imagine a better set up), Dany/Jon drama, Mad Queen narrative, Sansa/Dany catfight and a bunch of other scenes. A lot of the stuff would need a bit more... Details. - I think Missandei's death is justified. She is close to Dany and her death has a strong impact on her after losing Jorah. Also, she was probably the weakest link on these ships, so much more likely to get caught. I also think Missandei's getting killed in cold blood is a taste of the things to come. (also a possible double standart because before missandei died everyone was making jokes about her and Grey worm being cannon fodder and now **** goes down) - Bronn just showing up doing nothing I... Idk what to think - I think Dany has not yet crossed the line of becoming a Mad Queen. I still have hope that things will play out differently. Yet, I also think hints are there in her characterization. It's not coming out of nowhere. I am also seeing the spoilers for the possible ending and Idk... I do not want to give them too much attention yet... I don't even know if I will discuss the next episode much because I kinda wanna see the last episode now to make my full impression of what is going on. But we will see. But tbh I currently enjoy how things in general go, I wish there would be more explanations. I knew that the shortened seasons were not good and it shows. But things are currently not happening like we all thought and that makes it still interesting. While reading through multiple comments on different sites I got quite the feeling everyone before the season was like "we do not want something typical!" now GoT doesn't give you anything typical and most people are "nahh I don't like what I see I prefer my basic endgame!". On a side note, I Think Danys actions in Essos were a bit overhyped, maybe we should have questioned these things more often but now we have this mess. Oh well. Also mess at me still writing more than I had planned

Also mess at me still writing more than I had planned I haven't read any of the ending spoilers I'm afraid to do it. On the other hand I feel I have the need to mentally prepare myself for a big emotional mess so maybe I should read it so it's not so hard hitting. I know ridiculous it's only a TV show. Lion Heart 15,041
I just pieced together another detail I hated about S8 E4 Spoiler >Sansa says that "Stark men don't do well in the South." >Then a few minutes later, she conspiring to put Jon on the Iron Throne. WHICH IS IT ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Bye 3,947
I believe the leaked endings but honestly wouldn't that be predictable given the general direction they've been hinting at this season, especially the last episode? GoT is known for its twists so if the leaked ending is true, it wouldn't be much of a twist given that the concerned characters have all spoken about how things should go done in the last episode. I desperately don't want to believe the leaked ending yet I do.

Alphaz 7,956
After it ends. They should make a poll and ask what people think about the ending. I'm pretty sure most people will be disappointed.
