I never read any of the spoilers that leaked and I love Dany but ya'll are too much and being overly dramatic because you didn't get your way...

Everyone complaining about Game of Thrones. You expected a nice happy ending with a bow on top? 🙄 Even though she’s my favorite character, Daenerys Targaryen makes an excellent villain. The foreshadowing was definitely there; plus Dany’s vision of the ruined red keep in ash and Bran’s vision of a dragon flying over a burning King's Landing means this was all meant to happen. Now I hope the bitch burns Jon, Sansa, Tyrion and Arya who the writers seem to have the biggest hard on for. Just don’t kill Drogon. I ❤️ Dany to death but I'm fully ok with how they made her have the Anakin Skywalker moment. I don't think it ruins the character at all. It shows Dany is flawed but also she had a very dark journey and lost a lot. She snapped because of the loss and betrayal. However she's always been focused for the Iron Throne. Dany kept her eye on the prize and it made sense for her to go down this dark path. Sometimes fear, anger and loss cause people to do dark things. She knows Jon betrayed her and that Westeros and the North will never love her. She ain’t stupid she had to become this to prove a point she ain't to be messed with and Daenerys Targaryen isn't going down without a fight. People calling it lazy writing well I think the characters did deserve a few more episodes but that’s just me being selfish. In reality you've been ignoring the signs all this time if you thought Dany was this nice hero. If you think Dany didn’t show she had these tendencies you weren’t paying attention and you clearly don’t know the creator George R. R. Martin was taking down Dany this path in the books and has been very vocal the HBO writers were going to follow his outline to end the show. What would have been lazy was to make Dany that saves everyone from the evil Cersei and people chanting her name like some Disney tale with a big celebration at the end. Yes the episode was violent and graphically brutal but such is the cost of war. This is Game of Thrones its given us many unexpected twists and turns over the years and we love it because it’s been f*cking brutal at times. Just appreciate no other TV show has come close to it. I’ve enjoyed the journey. Love her or hate her Dany finally became what she needed to become a mother f*cking dragon! This is what I've been waiting for my bitch to do. Light them all up & burn them all. I have a feeling next week is gonna play out like a great Shakespearian tragedy. To quote Olenna Tyrell "The lords of Westeros are sheep. Are you a sheep? No. You’re a dragon. Be a dragon." Now DRACARYS BITCHES 🔥🐉 Oh and more thing I seriously hope Drogon laid eggs somewhere to keep the Targaryen legacy alive.

I don't think anyone has a problem with Dany saying **** it and doing her own thing, it's the pacing 

In the matter of a few episodes she's made a sudden 180 because everything happened at once, they should have spaced it out more to make a more gradual thing

alot of Dany fans seem to have conveniently overlooked many moments of Dany being ruthless over the years.   IMO this is not a quick change at all, she has always been problematic.

been watching the show since the very beginning in 2011, read the books, have merch... heck, even my keychain is house targaryen themed etc,etc. 

and i, simply for the life of me, can't get mad at anything. i just love the series, love the actors, love the characters, love the scenery, everything. yes the writing is sh!tty and the pacing is whack, but i'm going to miss them all so much. and to think that next week is the last time i have new ep is killing me slowly. 

and tbVh i saw this ending coming years ago.

When was the last time Daenerys burned thousands of children and innocents? She could have gone straight for the Red Keep. In fact, it's the first thing she looked at. As I've said before, the writers just wanted to make it as dramatic as possible because they need theatrics for these last episodes. Don't get me wrong, I think there were seeds planted throughout the 7 seasons of some madness, but she always overshadowed those by doing good things for other people. Given more time I would have bought this Mad Queen storyline where Daenerys just burns absolutely everyone in sight, but from what we have been given I don't buy it at all. I'm not going to fill the gaps for the writers because they didn't want to put more development into the characters. That's not my responsibility.  How can you really defend a season that has heat seeking arrows that shoot through mountains and two main characters being killed by bricks though?

Dany's change seems fast paced because the show lacks some arcs that the books develop a lot more, like the line in the book: "If the dragons are monsters, then so am I" or the prophesies at the house of the undying with all the "Bride of Death, Queen of Ashes". The show made an effort to show Dany as a good rulerlast 2 seasons just to make her decend into madness in the last 2 episodes with very weak justifications.

She never killed  people without reasons, especially women and children, it makes no sense.

They should have give her proper build up, or something that makes her goes mad during that moment, not that stupid bell.

If these aren't reasons enough to "go mad" for her then nothing is. 

The writing and character development was sloppy this season, but the notion that a bell made her go mad is NOT how it went.

That's what I'm complaining about though. It's all crammed in this season. The point of character development is that it's spread out over a long period of time. I still don't see how any of those things for just this season warrant her killing children and innocents. Her issue has always been with Cersei. She should have flown straight for the Red Keep. The people of the city pose no threat to someone with a giant ass dragon, nor have they wronged her in any way. Burn the soldiers, sure. I don't care if they surrendered or not. But saving the innocents from tyrants has always been Daenerys' "thing"
