apple has 130 something billion dollars just sitting around.

The CEOs are worth hundreds of millions

Fun fact, apple has retail stores with low wage employees that definitely don't make 6 figures.

Apple relies on low wage workers in other countries to make their products.

there are literally thousands of poor people that work hard for apple to make billions every few months.

Every billionaire makes their fortune off the backs of the working class. They can pay billions more in taxes instead of keeping it in a bank account somewhere for nothing.

People do not deserve six-figure salaries for selling phones:rip: It's not a fun fact. I am eagerly waiting for AI-driven retail stores that abolish these useless jobs.

This is a very weird way of spelling 'creating jobs'.

No, Warren Buffet made his fortune because he started buying stocks at the age of 17. You?

As I've just mentioned, the federal income tax should be abolished. You can't steal money from people simply because they are more successful than you are.

Yes it is fair

they still have more money than the avrage person they should stop complaining and contribute to society instead of hiding their money on a foreign bank account and avoiding taxes

and how is  the goverment going maintain the roads, infrastructure , public transport if they cant tax people?

New Hampshire has no personal income tax, and they still manage to have all of these.

New Hampshire has the 3rd highest property tax rate in the country

Bob is a billionaire because he exploits a poor working class and must pay his fair share to provide for them.

Am NO! That's blatant socialism right there. The problem with this flawed economic concept that have never worked in history is that you EVENTUALLY run out of rich people money to spend.

If you tax rich people that much then what's the point of working so hard at first if you can't enjoy your earnings later on? What will eventually happen? Institutions created by rich people who took risks that no one else took to build their wealth will fall. Poor people are not able to compensate for this failure because they expect easy monetary handouts from the rich, so they will become lazy. Ultimately, you'll have a very screwed up economy and eventually no one will succeed.

I can come up with a disaster scenario or 2 for capitalism as well. Treating socialism like a bad word and calling everything the government does socialism isn't productive. We can have a stable system of high taxes and the right incentives. There's obviously a balance. Right now it's really tilted in favor of the super rich and a high tax on income above $10 million is a good way to bring it back.

I can see you being one of those people walking into a Starbucks or any other retail environment and acting “above” all the employees working.

Yes, technology will get rid of “useless” jobs but don’t think the more “important” jobs like doctors, lawyers, etc. aren’t in trouble either.

God, this is entertaining.

Unfortunately, rubbish ideas like this are going to give Trump a 2020 victory.

I agree but taxing someone above 50% of their profits is just flat out wrong regardless of how rich they are. You can have capitalist economies with socialist undertones like Norway, Finland, Sweden even Canada. But, it's not productive to tax anyone more than 50%.

I am amazed at the effective brainwashing that liberal media is....

Make all the good singers and performers who made 100 mil pay 90% tax and give it to all the artists who suck.

like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. My words give a clue, look inside to see whats true
