In Canada, being a centrist is the same as being liberal here. Canada’s healthcare and views on immigration are far left compared to the US.

i really cant think of a democrat that i'd like to vote for. bernie isnt even a real democrat to me. 

hate to say it but i feel more comfortable not voting next election since my vote doesnt even matter being in california and all. its a repeat of 2012 again for me. not really fond of either candidate

Being further to the left politically doesn't make you less electable. Bernie Sanders is the most popular active politician in America and he's the farthest to the left of anyone in Congress. Warren's electability is an issue because of that horrible Native American non-controversy that she stupidly played into with that DNA test. I think that really sunk her. 2016 was her moment and she missed it, sadly.
