BUtterfield 8 41,849
Sen. Elizabeth Warren jumped into the 2020 presidential campaign Monday, offering a message of economic populism as she became the best-known Democratic candidate yet to enter what is expected to be a crowded race. Warren’s announcement that she was establishing an exploratory committee — the legal precursor to a run — came as other candidates, including several of her fellow senators, made final preparations for their own announcements, some of which are expected in days. “America’s middle class is under attack,” Warren said in a four-minute, 30-second video emailed to supporters Monday. “How did we get here? Billionaires and big corporations decided they wanted more of the pie. And they enlisted politicians to cut them a bigger slice.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/sen-elizabeth-warren-says-she-will-seek-the-presidency-in-2020/2018/12/31/1b0ae010-022f-11e9-b5df-5d3874f1ac36_story.html?noredirect=on

FATCAT 60,938
Oh god, here we go. I knew it was going to start at some point. I support her, but I don't think she has the political savvy to win the primary. We shall see! This kitten over here (meow)

Morphine Prince 109,937
She has no chance. I like her but let’s be realistic...
ImTired 3,956
I love her. You can tell she cares and she gets it. Anx for real, some of y'all would still be paying $250 a month in bank overdraft fees if it wasnt for her Consumer Financial protections.
Ziggy 14,296
There is literally no one I can see losing harder than her. I like her policies stances, but the woman has absolutely no grasp on how to connect with the rest of America outside the massive liberal enclaves in the east and places like it (Chicago, Los Angeles, etc.). A Democrat would need to be able to carry minority voting blocks and I can’t see her pulling those numbers. Plus, she steps into Trump’s goading pitfalls way too easily. and also sexist people will call her shrill and unlikable also. She’s basically a more liberal Hillary i.e. even less electable by the American electorate.

Same with candidates like Bernie Sander. Despite how highly we think of them, they're no longer strong enough candidates to beat Trump. Honestly, Biden is our best chance for Democrats to take back the presidency.

Glad we're on the same page Completely here for Biden/Beto 2020. That will bring together more traditional democrats and the newer more liberal democrats
BenG 19,908
The democrats need to go more centrist if they want to win. The liberals won't have a chance in swing states
