Let's all not forget that Natali went to school for fashion and 99.99% of you did not.

Girl, that's not the point. We've all seen Project Runway. Just because you went to school for fashion doesn't mean you understand fashion. They don't teach you creativity.

That is like saying every person that studied dance, voice, music and acting will be Lady Gaga. Just to be clear most people in theatre classes study all those things.

With that said, there are some pieces of Gaga's sister I love others I don't.

This wasn't designed by Natali, unless they ripped off a guy I follow on Instagram which was rumoured to do customes for Enigma.

He does have great and intricate pieces, mostly in the form of giant gowns and capes that wouldn't allow Gaga to dance, and the neon act is by far the most energy filled act

Natali went to Parson's, one of the best design school in the US. That's not the same as taking some theater classes :awkney: Using Project Runway as your point of reference for the process behind creating a garment already made you wrong in the first place.

Girl stop. Not every designer that goes to Parsons is a great designer and not every performer that goes to Julliard is a great performer. They teach you a skill. What you do with that skill and how you translate it into creativity is completely up to the artist or designer.

99% of fashion isn't really creative. It's a technical skill. You're embarrassing yourself. You clearly know nothing about this industry other than the image it projects to the public.

You have to stop. People have different opinions and not everyone will like same stuff you like. Just chill.

If all you have is a technical skill in design, then all you are is a great seamstress, and if all you can do is insult me then we should just end this pointless conversation here because I haven't insulted you.

Whether you like something or not is opinion.

That wasn't the point of discussion when you butted in where nobody asked you to.

I didn't intend that to come out as especially mean-spirited. To make it to the point Natali has, you'd have to study fashion history, design principles, as well as ACTUALLY how to create garments, and probably a bunch of other **** I don't know I didn't actually go to Parson's myself I just know the school's reputation. She didn't take a sewing class. She went to a specialized DESIGN school. Like a whole, several-year curriculum. That's like saying you went to Medical School and can't grasp the art of sewing a wound shut.

I'm sorry that Project Runway taught you that fashion designers conceptualize entire collections in a week and construct them all by themselves in a few days out of soda cans and scraps of fabric they bought before they finished figuring out what they needed to sew.
