Im not sure but I think the attack on the museum was claimed by ISIS. I did not know about the other cases but I know there are a lot of muslim immigrants in Anderlecht

Sarajevo has an ancient Jewish population and it seems that they live kinda in peace as well which can’t be said about most european cities anymore

All i see is they are clever and know how to treat money and these stuff.. its all seems like people and politics hate them because they are jealous

I live in Budapest Hungary and i dont see any trouble around this, theres a beautiful Synagouge here which is also the biggest in Europe  

And i think instead of hate Europe should build a Jew friendly environment like US did in World War 2. and make a stronger economy etc

But who knows .. its so misty for me and i guess there are things that we dont and wont know

Anti-semitism goes hand in hand with the rise of white nationalism. i see it happening in Poland a lot too—my relatives have become much more vocal about how much they dislike Jewish people. It scares me so much because it’s so reminiscent of 1933 nazi Germany.

also there was a rally last year during constitution day consisting of white families burning things, smashing store windows, and calling for a “Muslim Holocaust”. The cognitive dissonance is too evident at this point

I honestly wish antisemitism laws were harsher. Like naming and shaming perpertrators as well as their parents. And longer sentences as well as compulsory education about the Holocaust and history of persecution. Maybe even force criminals to visit Auschwitz and starve them a little (not to cause any long term physical damage or life threatening symptoms, only to create solidarity with those who suffered and perished). This has gone on for too long. Kids these days should know better.

Envy. People are jealous of Jews because they are a closeknit community with strong beliefs and traditions. Many societies today are so alienating, and they look for someone or something to blame.

I’m from Sarajevo and yes majority of people here are muslims and they are not immigrants. Also I’d say our community is pretty accepting of Jews and their culture. We cherish different cultures and religions and you can basically see a mosque, church and synagogue like just 100 meters from one another.

Muslims accepting Jews? Because I’ve been surviving with Muslims and “you’re a Jew” has been the worst insult since forever.

Well I’m sorry for your bad experience but in my city it’s not common. Jews living here literally have no problem with any other person from any religion. Come visit sometime.
