Well BR has a 62% RT rating so that would really be going against the grain, but we’ll see

Vice has 64% on RT and is still in contention for a BP nod. This year surely is weird.

Yh, ppl are actually predicting BR to be nominated for best picture at the oscars, which be4 the sag I would say no way dude

But guys, the movie is really good. I mean, I know some songs of Queen but I didn’t grew up listening to them and even got emotional many times watching that. Rami Malek did a great job so I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets some best actor award.

I will be glad enough Gaga getting best actress nomination at the oscars and honestly at this point I don’t wanna get high hopes and just have expectations to see her winning some best song media. If she gets more than that, obviously I will be very happy and celebrate.

Ummmmm, lets lower our expectations just a bit :rip:

Song I agree, but all the others we really dont know, specially Best film. Thats hard to predict and even the most obvious front runners lose.

It's not just me sis, almost every expert and critic is predicting ASIB to win those three at the Globes. Globes love musicals, there really is no big competitor on the drama side

If ASIB loses, everyone will be surprised, not just us gaga stans

We're far from the Shallow now

i think that Gags still has to proof herself as a good actress a little bit more

Huh?

It's not a lifetime achievement award. It's for that particular role alone, doesn't matter what she did before or after it. :vegas:

I know man, but like no one predicted  a best ensemble nod for BR at the SAG so you can't know for sure that it won't be nominated. And as HitTheBoat said Vice with 64% is almost a lock at this point for a nomination, so :laughga:

Yeah I know. But its never a sure bet like the other categories. It does have a really good chance though.

I know lol even I didn't believe when they announce BR was nominated and The Favourite was snubbed, I mean how? :wtfga:

And ppl have the courage  to say this oscars is not as competitive as previous years :madge:

I am telling you, this race is full of surprises! Some movies from past winners that we thought would be big players (widows, first man and beale street) are doing nothing. The supposed "crowd pleaser" green book came and went and is getting backlash (they better hope it doesn't win globe) and films dragged by critics being contenders ... the best actress race is even crazier, there might not be a sweep !
