OT: No Gaga because GAGAdaily.

We all know Ariana had a tough year and so does Britney, Katy , Kesha and more. All faced their lowest moments and that’s okay because we are humans, but which of their downfalls hurt you or saddened you the most?

I'm like some kind of supernova

I don’t think Katy really counts, she got Divorced. That’s the only thing that really happened to her out of her control. She also released Prism and did the Super Bowl after... the divorce. Witness wasn’t until much later

i am confusion

please enlighten me to death

Britney Spears > Rihanna (Chris Brown domestic violence incident) and Kesha > Katy Perry > Ariana Grande

Obviously I do not wish any of these things happened to any of them, but Britney's mental breakdown was so huge that she was the central topic of the mass media and people made a big deal out of it. She had to survive mental illness in front of everyone and she seemed to have struggled a lot with it.

Rihanna is a strong woman but that doesn't mean she didn't suffer a lot. I feel like she kept everything to herself, and she even spoke fondly of Chris Brown and I respect her for that. Kesha had to undergo a long litigation process with her alleged assaulter and she could not make music for years.

Katy Perry suffered from a divorce, the reason I put her over Ariana is because she actually manifested suicidal thoughts. Her Witness interview made me cry.

Ariana was affected by all the controversy around her, but none of those things were her fault (Mac Miller's death wasn't her fault, the terrorism act wasn't her fault, the breakup was bad but not suicide-inducing) so I ranked her last. Besides, she was in the midst of immense success with No Tears Left to Cry and God is A Woman during those times.

When a person's mental breakdown is being described as 'iconic' and 'impactful'. :air: I-

Ariana's, but not because of the things mentioned in the poll, but the horror she endured during the Manchester terrorist attack. God I felt for her...

Gimme More

Britney.

As a die hard fan of hers, it was so horrible seeing her being trashed by the media and paparazzi hounding her 24/7 in packs.

she was going through a divorce, running around the streets/gas stations/stores in the middle of the night, she was suffering from mental illness, had not long given birth to her second child, shaved her head, lost custody of her kids, her 'manager' was drugging her and hiding her phones and dogs and telling her how she will never see her children again. britney locked herself in a bathroom with her youngest son refusing to give him back to fed's bodyguard and this ended up in her being put in a stretcher and being put under a 5150 hold. She then had a second 5150 hold. It was so sad to see videos of britney crying asking the paps to leave her and her kids alone.

I was so worried she was not going to survive 2007 or early 2008! I am so proud of how far she has come and how happy she seems now!
