Ditch this "hot take" and instead read how the story is a gay allegory.

I think what they're trying to say is that growing up, no one noticed just how much of a mess the characters actually were. I don't think they're saying that it's bad or should be changed. Y'all need to chill. It's just like when people react to kids shows that had sexual innuendos you didn't get as a kid.

People need to actually focus on things that matter rather than getting their undies in a twist over fictional characters. Focus on rights being infringed, governments that are corrupt and the state of the planet rather than finding offense everywhere.
