She's been filling up stadiums for 20 years straight + has reinvented herself in amazing ways. Stop being a hater just for the sake of it and put some respect on that woman. She's a professional vocalist + performer and she'll keep on being the best for years. No point haha these people will always say she’s boring or overrated no matter what she does ha. It’s sorta sad but comical May I Read You? 😎

When Beyoncé left Destiny’s Child- she used Amerie’s producers and stole that sound from her. Her success almost monopolized Anerie’s career. When the sound became tired, she moved on to other sounds(not a bad thing). When her songs weren’t doing as well she rode on the coat tails of other popular singers(duets with shakira, then lady Gaga, then Nicki Minaj). I will say when she finally made the political statements for black lives/culture for Lemonade, she finally stepped out of her box. She puts on a hell of a show, and she appreciates big productions(lots of dancers on stage, big hair, big style, etc). Her consistency is admirable. Her fans push her on this HUGE pedestal-and sometimes you get things like Beyoncé is the new Michael Jackson, or is the most influential female artist of the decade .Why do people do that with female artists anyway? Always a competition. They tend to let male performers be, while they pit females against each other. Is it a fan thing, or is it a publicity thing? It’s annoying for sure. I see your points, certainly. But regarding riding of coattails-Beautiful Liar was on the same album as Irreplaceable, one of Bey's biggest hits from an album that debuted at number one. I think they just decided to collaborate, tbh. And Nicki? I'd hardly say she needed Flawless Remix to be relevant again, she had a hit album multiple hits. Once again, just a collab. I agree that the Beyhive put her on a pedastal high above where she should be, but I think that's a fandom thing. Monsters do it. Barbz do it. Lambs do it. I wish they weren't "ranked", it kind of goes against their own message. It lowkey fuels the pinning of women against each other, I don't like it. And this thread is basically proof of it. We should be celebrating these women for their strengths and wins, not discussing katy's placement. i love you

THIS. There are Beyonce fans here. I get it. But- it’s annoying when one says something along the lines of “well obviously she is number one, etc.” Then, when someone who isn’t a fan objectively points out why she isn’t number one, they label them as a “hater”. No- they don’t hate Beyonce. They just don’t see her as the number one most relevant or culturally effective female artist.
