Wishlist: Gaga as a Pokémon gym leader/villain

I watched the trailer for the live action Pokémon movie when it came out and I wasn’t feeling it. I watched it again today and this time...I’M FEELIN’ IT.  

Warner Bros. might have the next big film universe on their hands if they play their cards right. I also imagine they’re open to more films if this one turns out to be a blockbuster and isn’t a critical disaster. I mean, it’s Pokémon. One of the biggest franchises to ever exist AND it has major global appeal. It makes sense to capitalize on this.

So, if WB decided to expand into the Pokémon universe and pump out more films I would love to see Gaga play a role in one. Pokémon has made plenty of their gym leaders, champions, and villains these mysterious, enigmatic () and over the top characters and I think Gaga could be a perfect fit. I would honestly DIE if I saw a Pokémon x Gaga collab in my lifetime. 

Remember that Gaga has connections to Warner Bros. There. I’ve planted the seed into the universe. 

Now rip me apart in the comments for being this delusional. I deserve it.

I just want live action adaptations of games and anime to stop.

Honestly, like I don't want pokemon to become an everyone thing. In all honesty, the series needs to stop for a while to let some new Mon thing to happen or breath fresh air into it.

To be honest, the only reason why this movie is happening is because it can appeal to anyone. It's not Japanese enough to scare away regular peeps. It's not too related to the pokeverse for casual fans to be scarred off. It's not too scary for children but not kiddish enough to scare away adults.

It's perfect. 

And yes, you're delusional. 

Any live action pokemon would have to be disconnected from the games or anime. It would probably have to follow some of the lesser known spinoffs or be it's own thing.

However, if the movies become nothing but Kanto pandering, people will stop coming. I am so sick of Kanto pandering. Just blargh.
