Please don't sign this petition, folks. By doing so, it means you're saying it's acceptable for petitions to come along to oust planned performers from their slot, which isn't nice or fair. Remember when people were petitioning Migos to take Gaga's place on the SB? We thought that was unacceptable and would have been furious if it actually worked, so we've got to apply the same rules here. As much as I dislike Maroon 5, I wouldn't try to get them kicked off a performance slot that they'd planned and prepared for. That's just mean.

But not gonna lie...I'm secretly pleased they're doing the SB because performing in front of the whole of America on a huge stage might well highlight how mediocre they are, the public will wonder why they gave them success all these years and it might end them for good. It happened to The Black Eyed Peas. It kinda sorta happened for Katy. It happened to Justin. It could totally happen to them. The SB is no joke. Screw up or just be a bit "meh"and you're toast.

Why would these people want M5 to relinquish their voice? If they stand for gay rights and do stuff like change arenas just because of the owners' anti-gay thinking what makes them believe they wouldn't make some kind of statement at the show in support of the players?

Beyond that, I don't personally see doing the show as their way of supporting the NFL's decision. It's just a show.
