Yea, I'd likely open the All Stars thread and then give 24 hours for both people to vote and for the Veterans Council to choose their song.

Then, the songs would be revealed the following day, and the competition would begin.

You should also have a song that comes in after the initial cast reveal, kind of like with Cynthia Lee Fontaine in Season 9 (if I remember that right) and Bebe in All Stars 3.
