The list is partially based on impact. As for now, Videophone was more impactful than songs like Paper Gangsta, even though it sounds like trash.

oh that i don't agree, it's pretty clear this is about quality. Vulture view the song as important in the catalogue, how it represents Gaga's strengths.

For example they prejudice over Beautiful Dirty rich as well as Paper Gangsta, which have that same kind of sound towards RedOne sound, that is more pop ready and seems like they think it's when she hits the nail.

I dont fully agree but yeah, the sound

Mm how really? Applause is in the top 10 and it kinda doesn’t deserve that.

Venus does not belong at #31. :triggered:

Swine, ARTPOP and MANiCURE too.

The misjustice done to Christmas Tree, Heal Me, BJ+AF, MANiCURE, HBF, MJH, DIC and Venus:saladga: especially when Hair is in the top ten

I think Heal Me is the only song that could be ranked higher than Hair

Just noticed Mary Jane Holland, Hair Body Face, Black Jesus, I Like It Rough, Summerboy, Disco Heaven, Paper Gangsta, Grigio Girls all lower than Jewels N Drugs

Is That Alright and Dancin In Circles only 3 and 6 spots ahead of Jewels N Drugs I truly cannot do this...

I, for one, love Jewels N Drugz. Grew on me. But it shouldn’t be higher than Disco Heaven, Black Jesus or Paper Gangsta.

"Paper Gansta" #102?
"Money Honey" #101?
"Boys Boys Boys" #98?

"Sinner's Prayer" #22?

OK, I'm done. After all it's just one person's opinion and everyone has its own.

Don't wanna kiss, don't wanna touch, just drink my ****ing coffee and watch 90's cartoons and hush

Starstruck was going to be the second single instead of Poker Face IF Just Dance tanked and radio wasn't here for her Electronic Pop music since Starstruck was more in the vain of Hip-Hop/R&B ala the music at the time. Hence why she used to perform it on her lil club promo tours back in 2008

Wow what an alternative timeline :saladga: I can’t imagine what direction she would have gone in if she had her breakthrough in hip-hop  I guess that explains all of the unreleased like “Reloaded,” “No Way,” “Second Time Around,” and “Out Of Control” leaning more towards R&B than pop :nooo:

Next article: Gays rate every Gaga song

I can still imagine the debate though, we can’t even have a general consensus on the quality of ARTPOP, and if The Fame was a good album or not :vegas:

I’ve learned to love Gaga rankings that are totally out of step with my own taste coz it shows the depth of her music and how it can resonate so differently with people.

That said, I thought all the writeups were really thoughtful. You can tell the author totally respects and understands her as an artist and the article feels like it’s honoring rather than critiquing. It’s quite an undertaking honestly.
