definitely agree with this. Practically everyone I remember at the libertarian convention in Vegas in 2012 was a white educated male. There were a few women and like one or two african-americans.

I’m sorry if I offended you btw. I had a flair up of frustration but it’s mostly gone now.

No, no. I'm not offended. Just giving my two cents since I've seen the inner party machinations. :)

I was probably very harsh in my first statement but libertarians in 2018 are the most frustrating group I’ve ever met. And it’s mostly because it’s a group filled with people who really don’t have something at stake in an election. They’re majority white, male, and received an education, which usually means they’re not below the poverty line. Their view will never match the true interests of the less fortunate or the minority groups that feel threatened in this political environment.

I have to say, when it comes to libertarians, we as progressives have more in common with them than we do with republicans. But like you said, libertarians are horrible for the economy.

Overall so far I'm pleased. I mean this Trump mentality is running too deep to make immediate changes, especially in the bible belt but I'm LOVING how many women are running and winning, we have more diversity, first openly gay governor in Colorado AND Kim Davis is out!

I'm glad we took the house though. I'd rather win the marathon than the sprint.

Ok but let's take a step back.

This went pretty well. Dems just took back the house! And so many progressive changes in different states.

Record turnout in many places!

"Voters in Alabama will vote in favor of an amendment to the state's Constitution that would authorize the display of the Ten Commandments on state, public and school grounds, prohibiting the spending of public funds to defend the constitutionality of this amendment, and providing for certain religious rights and liberties, CNN projects."
