"Heal Me" is my first favorite Gaga song since ARTPOP the album, Why?

Ok, I asked a question in the title but the answer was obvious,

she DID that with Heal God, and I'm just grateful that my Mother fed me right on the time, just when I started starving to the death.

Thank you Lady Gaga. Even tho I'm SURE y'all agree with me, I just needed to open thiis thread, so yeah

:messga:

Likewise. ASIB has rekindled my love for Gaga music which has definitely been wavering since AP. I really disliked C2C and Joanne so it's nice to appreciate her music once again.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

ASIB tracks show me that Gaga’s writing versatility is even more so than I already thought. I mean the contrast from Alibi to I’ll Never Love Again to Look What I Found to Heal Me/ HBF/ WDYDT

You weren't fed by the other basic electronic pop bops of the last five years? :koons:

Nah, half-joking, I do enjoy it. I think it's the weakest of the pop songs, personally, but those pop songs are all super enjoyable and very well produced (a lot better than TC) and I get that fans of electronic Gaga pop were dying for something like it :laughga:

I'm the opposite, I've been fed many, many times. ICGYABL, ETWSG, Lush Life, Nature Boy (the C2C standouts basically), her cover of I Want Your Love (the ad version anyway), the fantastic Your Song cover :messga: But yeah, those aren't original I guess.

It feels like The Cure and Heal Me were battling to be in the movie and Heal Me won the battle, they are too similar

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I enjoy every Gaga album. While she has done less dance pop recently, I do think it is for the best. I would rather her grow and broaden, than keep making the same stuff.

This is a great point. It’s important for her to have expanded her horizon and still continue to do.

When she does go back to pop bops like with Dancin In Circles (gap from ARTPOP to Joanne) to The Cure and later to HBF/ HM/ WDYDT it shows her growth and that she’s capable of doing all of those things and so much more

When Gaga puts out some of the best music of her career and some fans don't care because they can't bop their bussy to it 🤷

to me heal me is the little sister of the cure, I see it as a Gaga song, that's all. I love it, it's like it helped me wait so much for next Gaga's record :)

She is winning again…. somehow she always stays here. I can’t stand it.

Heal Me sounds a lot more dark. Other than the sort of similar subject matter I don’t really see any more comparisons.

When I first saw the film and listened to the soundtrack I couldn't stop replaying that song. Those high vocals are everything.
