P!nk's new record is projected to debut between 200-225K. Good for her! However, I think P!nk will be reaped once again of that #1 album due to G.O.O.D Music's (mostly Kanye West) new release Cruel Summer and Kanye has always had bigger opening weeks than P!nk so... :ohno:

P!nk is going to do great this era. I was totally surprised when I saw Try was at 10 last night. Congrats!

And that song with fun.

I wish I could buy it this week :rip:

I'll probs have the money to buy it on its 2nd week

I hope P!nk only releases like 4 - 5 singles leaving less margin for flops :toofunny:

Yeah, I would never go beyond 5 singles for an album. I think 4 is the best number of singles because it leaves room for each song to chart properly and no songs overshadow each other or overlap. Also, because it avoid over-saturation of an artist on Pop Radio. Releasing 4 singles is much less annoying that releasing 7 or 8.

I mean look at 21:

- 4 singles (RITD, SLY, SFTTR, RHI) that all performed well and had exceptional airplay and sales in the US without overexposing Adele on the radio (At least I feel that she wasn't overexposed on radio :music:).

5 singles for ARTPOP tho xoxo

WHOA! Try #7

It's like the public knows this is the 2nd single. Usually the public is oblivious to what is a single until they heard it on radio (unlike Try which doesn't have an add date yet) or see that it was released separately as a single (which Try also wasn't given)

Slayage

MANiCURE1295

After a lot of listen, Pink album is really good and mature. Not quite as catchy as CRJ album but have more longevity ; Slut Like You, Try and the song with Fun. could get really big. She really turned back to typical Top 40 synths and used a more rock vibe. I like it ! She deserves all her success ! Hopefully it will be successful...

I love Try, Slut Like You, and Just Give Me A Reason! Such awesome tracks. Try was an instant lover for me. I've always loved P!nk's new material
