You know how when you have kids and know that when it’s quiet is when you should worry? Well this is like the opposite. You know where the kid is. He’s being very loud right in front of you but you don’t know what exactly he’s doing but you should be worried nonetheless.

Minorities hating on minorities. How smart.

Africans aren't a minority in Africa.... :laughga:

Minorities change depending on location; for example a white person would be a minority in Japan.  It's all local

Stan card: burned.

Anyway, they can hardly even make headlines anymore -- like Kim posing in a Yeezy lol it it had no impact and our wigs are barely tugged by it. They flopped hard.

Serial Chiller

I don't understand this association between African americans and africa? They are as related as White americans are to Europeans. Hereditarily, yes, but culture-wise there's less in common. They each developed distinct cultures, norms and issues. Black people in the US are a minority, African people living in Africa are not.

Suspiria

I don't see what was so terrible about Kim and Kanye meeting with him. Just because they talked to him doesn't mean that they also want to burn the gays.

Two American celebrities are hardly going to change such a deep rooted and controversial issue as homophobia. So they didn't waste their time talking about that  -  they talked about tourism, something that 2 people with such a huge platform perhaps could actually have an impact on (if the most famous couple in the world started promoting Uganda as a holiday destination, it would have an impact). And that would benefit the local economy and the local people.

Not everything is about homophobia and racism, there are other issues in the world. Like jobs.

But...his original point was that the majority of leaders in African countries are anti-gay. Africa, where black people aren't a minority.
